Introduction

Global auto is one of the well-known automotive organisations who have planned to initiate their operation in Mexico. However, facing different types of issues, the management has planned to implement your system to mitigate through issues and to access all the data for every employee. Therefore in this study, The traditional approach to IT solutions, value and risk of the ERP system and the challenges of global implementation of the ERP system are going to be evaluated. Similarly, this study also includes the benefits and challenges of cloudburst gear system in a particular environment

The Traditional Approach to IT Solutions

The application of the traditional approach of the IT solution includes the developing and designing of customs after solutions to meet different types of specific business requirements in a particular area. As illustrated by Helo et al. (2021), this approach also includes a property of IT professionals working closely with different types of business users which helps to gather all the requirements, design a particular solution to generate better support to provide proper results. The traditional approach is also very much important in a customised system which has been taken in the unique need of organisation. However, this approach can be expensive, time consuming or difficult to maintain for the organisation which creates a major amount of issues that can affect the overall operation of the organisation.

Analysing the overall case study of the Global auto, the application of traditional approach would involve the development of a new software system and designing from scratch which helps to meet all the specification requirements and business needs of the company in a particular and highly competitive environment. As analysed by Navarro et al. (2020), this type of factor also involves a large or significant investment of resources and time including hiring of a team member and allocating a good amount of budget for development of the software as per the requirement of the organisation. The application of the traditional approach can be effective for Global auto to initiate their Mexican operations by including a large number of advanced technology in the operating system which provide a good amount of support to the management body to get better revenue and profitability. The proper customization of the software to maintain all the unique needs of the automotive industry can help the organisation to reduce complexity and cost during productivity.

Evaluating the major limitations and challenges associated with the overall traditional process of implementing the technologies, Global auto has plans to adopt various types of ERP systems for addressing all kinds of business requirements in a particular area. As depicted by Kenge and Khan (2020), this type of approach can be also effective to offer integrated and more standardised solutions which can support most of the elements of the enterprise to be connected in ancillary systems for supporting the different types of business function. Because there are a large number of customisations required for tailoring the overall ERP system to address specific needs of Global auto, it is seen that this approach is the only way to offer a more cost effective solution compared to the traditional approach of a custom software development process in a particular area.

The Value And Risks of ERP Systems and its Strategic Alignment Within the Organisation

The enterprise resource planning system is very much well known as one of the primary software applications which has been used by most of the organisations to integrate and manage different types of business process functions and departments all over the environment.   7. Maintenance and monitoring of the oral system can also help to continue their overall needs to meet the organisation requirement over the time. As depicted by Kaya et al. (2019), it majorly also includes the updation of software and making modifications as per the requirement.

Therefore, the implementation and according ERP system will need the proper well planned approach that can be helpful for the organisation to meet all the specific requirements.

Considering the overall benefits of the cloud based ERP system for the United of Mexican and Kentucky plants, the cloud based system provides several types of benefits which help the management to develop different types of operation in a better way.

  1. With the help of a cloud based ERP system, Global auto does not require any kind of functionality for investing in the expensive software and hardware infrastructure. The cloud provider maintains and managers the IT infrastructure required for the ERP system
  2. As illustrated by Razzaq. and Mohammed (2020), the cloud based ERP system is also helpful for Global auto to increase their production as per the business requirement. It also offers flexibility for accessing different types of systems from a particular location within the internet connections.
  3. The application of your system also allows the employees from different locations to share and access all types of data by improving the decision making and collaboration in a particular area.
  4. It also allows employees from different locations such as Mexican plant and Kentucky plant to share and access all types of real time data by improving that reason making approach and collaboration among the employees (Prakash et al. 2022).
  5. The cloud providers also provide different types of disaster recovery services which helps to save the data in the unforeseen events.

Drawbacks

Along with their benefits, the ERP system implementation also has several drawbacks that are described below.

  1. Storing the data in the cloud system may create concern about the data privacy and security specially if a particular cloud provider is based on different country and maintains that different data production laws (Hustad et al. 2019)
  2. Application of cloud based ERP is dependent on a stable internet connection. Any kind of desertions on the interview male disruption in accessing the data of the system

Similarly, from the study it is also known that the air system is very much helpful to manage all their operations. Reflection

Transportation and freight logistics are one of the most important factors for every organisation to manage their different types of operations in a particular environment. This type of module can provide a huge amount of support to me for getting a clear idea about the different types of international expansion strategies for organisations. I did not feel so enthusiastic about getting a clear idea about the learning objectives. However, after day by day getting ideas about the operations and strategy implementation of the organisation, I felt enthusiastic to be a part of this module which provides me with a huge amount of support to get a good amount of knowledge about the importance of increasing profitability through international expansion. Expanding the market and selling products to the international market can provide a huge amount of support to the business organisation to generate better profitability. Similarly, I also learnt that funds can easily increase overall growth by selling services and goals developed at home in an international market. Local economics international affect different types of comparative pressure are the major learning modules of this subject which help me to get a clear idea about the major reasons behind using the proper international marketing strategy. There are four types of firm strategies as Global standardisation, transnational, localisation and international which can help a business form to choose the proper strategy for improving the overall marketplace and profitability.

After getting a clear idea from the module outcomes our professor gave the information about the importance of effective transport management that can provide a strategic advantage to the organisation through their efficient use of capital and both customer service. From the second module, I gathered a major idea about the importance of different types of current themes on globalisation performance management at sustainability along with the hierarchy, and networks that help me to get a clear idea about different integrative frameworks to be used for the transport supply chain management. This information provides me with a better idea about different types of opportunities for increasing my knowledge towards various types of operations. The third module is based on global freight transportation services, inter-model transportation and other factors about freight operations in the environment. I am so much excited to get associated with a particular firm who are doing international operations for getting their overall profitability. From this assignment, I also got to know about different types of factors such as the application of traditional approach value and risk of different types of ERP systems that provided a huge amount of support to the organisation. Enterprise resource planning is one of the primary technologies which helps to maintain all their resources in the overall environment for providing proper process support to the customers. Time pressure and cultural difference in integration with the existing system created some major issues for the management to implement the ERP system in global operations. Therefore, I am very much happy to do this assignment to getting knowledge about the different services of ERP and transportation operations.

For developing more knowledge, I will be using my researching skills to gather more knowledge about these system implementation and policies.
