3. Reflection

Writing the reflection is one of the most important factors for a particular project to evaluate all kinds of learning modules in a particular study. In evaluating the case study of Siemens, I realised that this organisation is one of the well-known organisations in Germany which generate a huge amount of profitability and revenue in the international market. Under the leadership of Siemens, I analysed that this company invested a huge amount of money in the different types of technology advancements for getting a good amount of consumer base in a particular environment. During the initial leadership, the organisation failed to meet major challenges including the improvement of performance and higher rate of disruptive changes in the Siemens industries. Evaluating all the issues faced by the organisation, the leader has implemented Vision 2020, which helps the organisation to meet different types of short-time goals within the time horizons (Johnson, 2018). Driving performance with proper responsibility and structure, strengthening the core focus on different things, and a long-term aim of intensifying all kinds of efforts are the three major objectives of the organisation. Therefore, in the related section, the proper analysis of the above tools is going to be described in a proper way to provide a clear idea and understanding of the major factors of this case study of the Siemens group.

Relating

A proper understanding of different types of business models can provide a huge amount of support to the business operation to understand all kinds of factors in a particular domain (Vermunt et al. 2019). The application of different types of strategic tools can provide a huge amount of support to the business organisation which provides the management with a huge amount of opportunities to develop a better strategy for managing different types of activities in a particular domain. Evaluating different types of business models, the BCG matrix is one of the well-known matresses which helps to understand the overall performance of the business units to evaluate their performance as per the market growth and higher rate of growth capital. Analysing different units of the organisation, the health care operations and digitalisation unit are majorly included in the star domain which provides a huge amount of support to the business organisation to get a better market growth and market share in the international market.

As per the cash cow segments, the energy management segment of the organisation only is part of this cash out which helps the organisation to get strong and mature market growth in the overall marketplace. As per the question mark, the smart infrastructure and the movie's latest event are the primary part of the question mark quadrant. As opined by Nurfitriya et al. (2021), it helps the organisation to have a higher market growth while having a lower market share. From the previous analysis, I identify that the application of the BCG Matrix can provide a huge amount of support to the organisation that provides better results to the customers. Similarly, it also helps the organisation to understand all kinds of factors in managing various activities in the operation. This organisation is also encouraged to invest a huge amount of money in its research and development team to stay ahead of its other competitors present in the market. It helps me to understand the major requirements of the organisation as the BCG matrix provides a huge amount of opportunity for organisations to get better revenue and profitability.

On the other hand, the second analysis is based on the impact of leadership on the organisation to get a good amount of results. As I know leadership is one of the most important skills for the manager or the management body, which helps the organisation to follow all types of rules and regulations and the proper operations to manage all kinds of activities and leadership styles. As illustrated by Buil et al. (2019), proper identification of different types of opportunities and offering different decisions are the major responsibility of the leader of the organisation Therefore, it can be depicted that their leadership style is majorly characterised by a proper focus on strategy and vision with their overall willingness to take various ways in achieving the long term goals in a particular area. Along with that, this organisation is also very well known for its customer-centric approach to the business. Higher organisations always try to see the proper understanding of the preferences and requirements of the customers for developing their different types of new services and products. The leadership of Siemens is very well known for their better power which assists the management to get a better revenue. He is the first leader of the Siemens group who understands the importance of using various types of advanced technologies in the overall environment. Among the major types of advanced equipment, he started to include automation and different types of renewable energy source-related equipment in their overall operation that provides a huge amount of support to the business management to get better results in a particular operation. As depicted by Suifan et al. (2020), a better leadership style also helps organisations to understand different types of issues faced by the Siemens group. Proper management of leadership style can be helpful for the organisation to get a good amount of consumer base which assists the organisation to implement different types of their major requirements. Proper management of different types of decisions can offer the organisation a good amount of opportunity. The leader of the Siemens group properly analysed the major importance of technology at the right time which helped him to understand and include more detailed ideas about the importance of various technologies in the overall environment which can assist organisations to get a good amount of efficiency and operations in their different types of energy mobility, health care and others. The proper application of the leadership style used by Siemens, the digitalisation strategy used by the management body offers better support in managing their final work in the domain. The application of the digitisation process can provide a huge amount of support to the organisation to help their social responsibility for investing a good amount of money in their sustainability initiatives or engagement programs with the environmental issues along with the stakeholders. From the identification of the above analysis about the impact of leadership style, It is seen that the proper application of leadership can provide the organisation to get a good amount of growth along with profitability that assists the management to ensure their performance.

From the above discussion of different types of strategic tools, the application of the Ansoff matrix is known as one of the primary strategic tools that help organisations to understand the overall growth strategy of the company by considering their market dimensions along with the product area and particular area of operation. As analysed by Clarissa (2020), this matrix has a total of 4 growth strategies including diversification, product development, market development and market penetration that can be helpful for the organisation to evaluate different types of performances of organisations which can offer the organisation a huge amount of growth in managing their various operations. At the time of learning about the Ansoff Matrix application in the overall market, it has been identified that this type of matrix can be helpful for the relation together ideas about their overall operations in managing different types of work. As per the four major strategies, every strategy has been used by the famous Siemens for their different operations in different localities or different places to gather a good upon top result along with the profitability. Marketing and product development are the primary strategies used by the famous group to attract a large consumer base from different localities along with the culture. Deliberate strategy development is one of the most important factors which often gives a huge amount of opportunities to organisations by identifying several types of factors in managing their various operations.

Proper leadership is one of the most delivered strategies for the relationship which can provide a huge amount of support to understand the overall market opportunities and their various growth that are incorporated as the company plans their particular location. After gathering a clear idea about the importance of this deliberate strategy development, proper identification of situation analysis through the application of Porter 5 forces and pestel analysis, can provide the organisation with several ideas about the impact of environmental factors on the organisation (Benzaghta et al. 2021). Identifying the scenario analysis, the higher rate of competitiveness from some major organisations including General Motors, Snyder Electrics, and others. Therefore, for growth in the international market, the organisation has used a strategic alliance strategy for developing a better customer base. As per the strategic alliances, the application of a proper deal with the Mitsubishi electric health schemes group to get a good amount of revenue in overall Japan. Therefore, evaluating all types of strategic tools, it can be depicted that the management body of the Siemens group is very much focused on providing its used amount of support to the organisation. I also analysed that these proper decisions by the management can offer a huge amount of opportunity to get better growth in the international market by taking different types of digitalisation-based strategies. I also evaluated the importance of these analytical tools on the daily performance of every organisation that can provide a huge amount of support to the management.

Reasoning

A proper understanding of different types of decisions can help organisations to initiate and enough their brand image in a highly competitive environment of the organisation. As analysed by Malik et al. (2019), managing various types of work by evaluating the overall demand of the consumer base can provide a huge amount of support to the research and development team of the organisation for getting a good amount of opportunity. At the time analysing these tools, I realise that the application of these tools can provide me with a clear idea about the operation of the organisation along with the current market trend which can provide me with a huge amount of opportunity in the future to work with a well-known organisation. During the analysis of the BCG matrix, I identified that four major quadrants of this matrix can provide a huge amount of opportunity for the financial community to understand the current market growth and market share of the organisation.

On the other hand, understanding the situation before initiating the operation in a new market can be helpful for an organisation to do a good amount of research and development. As depicted by Cortellazzo et al. (2019), with the help of leadership, the management can provide organisations with a huge amount of opportunity which helps to maintain the collaboration and work performances in the organisation that manages various types of activities in their different locations. Therefore, this management only uses the help of leadership, which assists the organisation to start the initiative to digitalise the overall process which offers a good amount of support to the management for mitigating different existing issues. Using the proper leadership as per the market requirement can provide a huge amount of opportunities for the management to maintain good collaboration with their employees. I am so happy because I got an idea about different types of analytical tools which provided me with the proper area of different types of market research that offered them to generate proper decisions for good profitability and revenue in the international market.

Options

Based on the different information provided in the case study, there are some major options available for the Siemens group. These options are described below.

The company needs to carefully evaluate these allowed mention operations for developing a proper strategic plan to achieve their short-term and long-term activities and golf in a particular area.

Criteria

At the time of selecting a couple of options for the Siemens group to pursue, several following criteria could be considered by the organisation that is described below.

Potentially for the Growth

The option should have a proper potential for having significant growth and profitability which could be evaluated through the application of different types of factors including demand trends, market size and competition in the overall area (Graham et al. 2021). Analysing the impact of these options on the overall growth of the organisation can provide a huge amount of support to the management body to develop different types of decisions in the highly competitive marketplace. It can be also helpful to understand the overall growth strategy of the organisation by providing future amounts of impact on the management.

Alignment With the Corporate Strategy

Every organisation like Siemens is very much focused on achieving the corporate goal and objective as per their overall growth. Proper alignment of the corporate strategy can provide a huge amount of opportunities for organisations that help the management to get and develop a better corporate strategy which provides purpose support to the management to get a good amount of consumer base. Understanding the alignment of corporate strategy, the management needs to choose the proper strategy to provide the huge amount of support the management can use for their future operations.

Feasibility

This feasibility criterion is very much beneficial in terms of companies' stability, success and existing infrastructure to manage their overall operation. As depicted by Shah et al. (2019), it should also be maintained in terms of regulatory economic and social factors for generating a good amount of growth and managing their overall operations in a better way. Proper management of feasibility criteria to evaluate the order option can provide a huge amount of opportunities for the organisation to choose the right option.

Sustainability Criteria

Currently, most of the organisation is very much focused on managing sustainability for maintaining their overall growth and the brand image in front of the customer base. Siemens is also very much focused on sustainability as the key priority of different options which should align the company's commitment towards responsible corporate citizenship.

Rewards and Risks

The option is also very much dependent upon the level of rewards and risks associated with the organisation. As opined by Albeerta et al. (2020), organisations also need to consider different types of uncertainties and potential risks as well as different rewards for market growth, profitability and market share expansion which provide a huge amount of opportunity for organisations to get better support.

Competitive Benefits

The criteria of competitive benefit are very much known as one of the primary factors which help the organisation to differentiate itself from the other competitors and position itself as one of the long-term success for the organisation. This criterion provides a huge amount of opportunity for the management to get better results to choose the right option for having better revenue.

Selection of options and implementation plan

Analysing the major challenges faced by the organisation and identifying different types of criteria, it is seen that two major options can be selected for providing better support in managing the activities during the international process.

Investment in Digitalisation and Innovation

Evaluating the overall marketplace of the organisation, proper investment in the digitalisation and innovation alliance with Siemens focus on their commitment towards sustainability and digitalisation process. As opined by Ullah et al. (2021), implementation of ERP systems and artificial intelligence can provide a huge amount of support to operate all their functions in a better way. Expansion into the New Market

The expansion of organisations in the new market can help organisations to achieve their diversification goal; it helps to diversify the overall revenue streams and reduce the dependency upon the mature markets. As analysed by Bimpikis et al. (2019), expanding the overall operations in an emerging country can help the organisation to get a huge amount of attraction from their customers. For implementing these strategies in the overall environment, the organisation need to first of all identify the overall demand of the consumer base for opening a new kind of brand. Evaluating the technologies, the management body can use the application of artificial intelligence and machine learning to predict the changes of consumers future behaviours which can provide the organisation a huge amount of support for having a good profitability. Similar proper expansion of the marketplace can offer the organisation a proper growth of having a good amount of results. Hiring employees from different cultures can offer the organisation a huge amount of opportunities to develop various types of innovative and creative products which assist them to generate and abstract the large number of consumers from different locations. Siemens already has them present in around 190 countries. Hence identifying the consumer demand can provide more approaches to the organisation to open the required branch units in those locations.

Therefore, to implement these major strategies successfully, the organisation needs to develop a clear plan which takes into account the capability and resources of the company as well as different types of challenges and risks. As illustrated by Williamson (2021), this time also includes specific timelines objectives and performance matrix to measure their progress towards the achievement of strategic goals. Proper governance fracture can be also helpful to oversee the implementation of the statistics with the clear responsibility and roles of each department. This also helps to ensure the expertise necessary for executing the strategies effectively which may involve the hiring of new talent and partnering with external vendors or consultants.
