Aim of this research

The proposed research aims to develop an understanding towards the effective utilisation of technology for people management.

Objective

  1. To find issues and challenges involved in using technology for people management.
  2. To develop an understanding of the tools and systems that are utilised for people management.
  3. To find the measures through which firms can effectively utilise technology to manage their employees.
  4. To explore the view of firms utilising technology for people management towards its utility and benefits.
  5. To explore the utility of AI in enhancing the task of people management

Methodology

The research methodology is one of the crucial factors which majorly helps to analyse for achieving the research objectives. The research methodology includes different types of research factors such as philosophical approach design and method which help the researcher to get proper findings for analysing the major role of technology in the people management of different contemporary organisations.

In analysing the research philosophy, the researcher will be following pragmatism philosophy which helps the researcher to manage different types of operations and decisions based on the different answers to research questions. As analysed by Newman, and Gough (2020), it also makes different top things possible for the researchers to conduct the research in a dynamic way to address the issues that have occurred in the research. Another major benefit of using this research philosophy is to effectively manage the research based on the mixed method.

The research approach is also an essential factor that helps the research to identify different patterns of the research. The application of an inductive approach will be used by the researcher which provides the opportunity to freely conduct the research without any kind of interventions based on their research objective.

For developing the research design, the research has followed a descriptive design that assists to provide a clear update about different types of research questions starting with WH words and offering ideas about place, population, age and others. As per the analysis of the data collection process, primary and secondary sources will be used by the researcher to get better findings. The researcher will be using the survey questionnaire for gathering data from the customers. Along with collecting the secondary data, the application of different types of authentic sources on this topic will be effective in managing the overall operation.

As per the analysis of primary survey questionnaires and secondary data, the application of thematic analysis will be used that provides better support in managing all their operations in the environment. It helps to gather realistic findings for the data.

Ethical Considerations

Respect for autonomy, dignity and privacy

For ensuring respect towards privacy, autonomy and individual dignity in research, different procedures are being followed by the researcher to maintain their anonymity, confidentiality and fair treatment.

  • Participant information form has been used by the researcher to provide the potential participants with detailed information about the different types of research projects. As opined by Coleman et al. (2021), this form should involve different types of information related to the purpose of the study methodology Research question and the potential risks and benefits of participants. This information form should be written in a formal language that has been very much easy to understand.
  • The consent form of the participant should be created for gathering voluntary and explicit consent from the participants. This form also should include the same type of information as the participant information. Except that, it only included a statement of consent for every participant which they needed to sign.
  • Confidentiality is a major policy that helps to protect the confidentiality of researchers, participants and other people (Elkoumy et al. 2021). They should ensure that their data is properly kept. Participants also should be assigned a unique identifier rather than using any kind of particular name for all data such as contact information or others.
  • Anonymity is also known as among the major policies for protecting the anonymity of participants. It means that any identifying information such as addresses or names is majorly needed to be removed from the data before analysis.

Scientific integrity

Proper maintenance of scientific integrity is very much effective for managing all their nature in the organisation.

  • A well-documented and clear research design is being developed for outlining the research questions purpose and objective of the study. Maintenance of scientific integrity should also detail all the methods they have been used for the decoration and analysis as well as sampling the overall strategy of the organisation
  • As opined by Noble and Heale, (2019), triangulation also involves multiple methods that address the research questions. In the mist method, the use of both quantitative and qualitative methods can help to enhance the reliability and validity of the overall study by providing converging lines of evidence.
  • The researcher also needs to be aware of their preconceptions and bases which reflect on the oral factors that might influence the research findings. That increases the awareness of one's position and its impact on the research process.

Social responsibility

In this mixed method research study, management of social responsibility can be affected for the researcher to take special care for protecting the interest and writing about a vulnerable population. For identifying the role of technology in contemporary organisations, the researcher has maintained the overall consideration of managing the community leaders by holding public meetings and involving members. This type of factor effectively supports the customer's overall operation in managing better results. The researcher also needed to consider different potential benefits of sharing their data with the broader community and other researchers. It can also be effective for promoting accountability transparency collaboration which advances the scientific knowledge of the organisation.

Maximising the benefits and harm

The researcher needed to ensure that the research has a large number of potential benefits for society. As depicted by ElAlfy et al. (2020), it majorly includes the different types of factors such as improving public health and most scientific knowledge about the technology and informing the policy of practice. Similarly, before starting the work, researchers also needed to conduct risk assessment strategies that provide better support in managing different activities. On the other hand, monitoring the research and managing the informed consent can offer better support in managing the overall form of consent.
