Management of human resources is one of the crucial factors which provide a huge amount of support to organisations for managing different operations in the highly competitive market. Due to the higher rate of changes in the technology in the current scenario, proper skill development of human resources are very much necessary for managing different types of operations. In the digitally printed industry, large amounts of new technology are offering much more advantages than the traditional printing method such as lower cost, faster printing issues, and greater flexibility in population and design. As illustrated by Adam et al. (2021), proper management of different types of issues by upskilling the employees for getting better results. Faster printing time, lower cost and a higher rate of reflexibility provide a huge amount of support that helps to integrate different challenges in the overall environment. Identifying the major skills required by the consumer base along with the proper process of developing the employees to upgrade themselves are very much to be evaluated in this study to provide proper results in managing human resources. Proper application of performance management among human resources can provide a huge amount of opportunity for the researcher for getting a better result.
The United Kingdom is one of the well-known countries that offer better support to different business organisations in managing their environment. The UK is one of the major countries where most people from different countries are coming to get a job in different locations. Therefore, as opined by Prasad et al. (2019), managing people from different locations or diverse cultures provides a huge amount of support in managing all their operations in the environment. Hence, the researcher has adopted this topic for providing clear ideas about the role of managing human resources in the data printing industry. Along with that, the importance of managing policies and strategies for developing a better environment is being analysed in this research.
Currently, a large number of technologies are capturing the market scenario of the digital printing industry. The major aim of this research is to analyse the role of managing human resources in digital printing technology. The major objectives of this research are described below.
What is the importance of managing human resources in the digital printing industry?
How do people from diverse cultures and locations create major issues for the leading printing organisation?
What are the primary strategies that can be used by organisations in managing their human resources for operating their digital printing operations?
Proper management of human resources is one of the critical factors in different industries including the digital printing industry. The proper application of managing human resources can provide a huge amount of support to the management to gather available ideas about the customer changing behaviour. As illustrated by Alzoubi (2022), understanding different types of operations and providing proper support to human resources can help the organisation to manage different types of activities in the environment. The printing industry is one of the innovative industries which require different advanced technologies for providing proper support to the management. This industry also required trends and skilled labour for maintaining and operating their sophisticated equipment. It is also effective for hiring and attracting qualified individuals with the right knowledge, skills and experience for ensuring effective and efficient production in the environment.
On the other hand, the productivity of the organisation is also very much dependent upon the performance of every employee. Proper management of human resources can be effective in ensuring engaged and motivated employees are committed to their work. As opined by Li (2021), this type of factor is also essential for managing human resources which helps to increase the efficiency and productivity of the overall environment. Proper effectiveness of different types of operations can be helpful for improving the efficiency and productivity of the organisation to manage different types of factors.
Employee retention is also known as one of the primary sectors of the industry. In the digital printing industry, a higher rate of experience can be effective to manage different types of operations. A high rate of employee turnover can create a significant cost in training recruitment and lost productivity. Proper management of human resources is effectively helpful for retaining the top most employees and reducing the overall turnover in the organisation which provides a better amount of opportunity to manage different types of activities. On the other hand, as opined by Dhanpat et al. (2020), the higher rate of innovation is very much effective in the digital printing industry. Most customers are preferring to have different innovative technology and ideas along with the products for helping their overall operation. For increasing innovation and problem-solving skills among the employees, management of collaboration among the human resources can provide a huge amount of support to the organisation to get a better amount of consumer base. Along with that, it can also assist the managers to comply with all the regulations for protecting the company by encouraging and rewarding the employees for innovative and creative ideas in production.
The management of the digital printing industry is very much dependent upon various regulations including safety regulation, health and laws for managing their overall activities. As opined by Nardo et al. (2020), human resource management can provide a huge amount of support to comply with they's major regulations and put the company at risk from different types of financial and legal risks. Therefore, it can be divided that managing human resources is very much essential for the success of the digital printing industry. It helps to attract and motivate skilful employees for improving productivity store innovation and ensuring compliance with the regulation in the overall environment.
Proper management of different issues in managing human resources is playing a major role in organisational management to increase productivity and innovation in their environment. The management is facing several kinds of issues at the time of managing human resources in the diverse work culture.
Communication issues can easily arise at the time of employment with the employees from the diversification that affects the overall productivity along with the collaboration in the workplace. As illustrated by Zhong et al. (2021), cultural differences, language video and time zone differences are creating a huge amount of communication difficulties that lead to misunderstanding the overall operation. It also helps to maintain misinterpretation by offering better support. Selection and recruitment of the right candidate can also create a major challenge at the time of dealing with a diverse workforce. The cultural differences along with the language can make it a major challenge for the delivery of the training program. Different regions and different countries are having different qualifications and cultural norms that create a huge amount of difficulties for human resource management to retain and recruit the proper candidate for their overall operation.
Due to the language barrier and cultural differences, the organisation faced a huge amount of issues at the time of delivering the proper training program to their human resources to meet all the expectations of employees from diverse locations. As opined by Jain and Pareek (2019), the proper application of strategy by maintaining cultural management can help to mitigate the issues. Determining the benefit and compensation for employees working from different driver locations can also create a major challenging factor due to the differences in wage levels and cost of living. Managing compliance and regulation can also create a major amount of challenge at the time of winning with the workforce of different countries in digital printing technology.
Proper management of different types of functionality and mitigating the issues related to communication, the inclusion of a common language for providing training to their employees and using technology such as instant messaging and video conferencing can be effective for the digital printing technology to manage their human resources and facilitate the communication in a better way. As analysed by Aderibigbe, and Chimucheka (2019), the organisation needs to develop better job descriptions along with the solution criteria actress all locations can provide better support to manage different time selectivities in the overall operation. The development of a blended landing approach combined with classroom training online training and on-the-job training can be effective to get all the requirements of employees from different locations.
The application of the literature gap can be effective to provide clear ideas for motivating the researcher to conduct the study. Analysing the literature, very less amount of data about the technologies is being gathered. Similarly, less data about the policies are being found in the existing literature which helps the researcher to initiate their work on this study.
The proper application of research methodology can provide proper support to the researcher to gather some major ideas about the process of conducting the research. For managing the research work, the researcher will be following the positivism philosophy which provides better opportunities to link with the variables and scientific data. As analysed by Alharahsheh and Pius (2020), it also helps the researcher to mitigate different human interventions in the research work. Along with that, the deductive approach will be very much effective for the research to analyse the data collected from different types of data sources and test the hypothesis for identifying the major findings of the research. Understanding the hypothesis by analysing variables collected from different data helps the researcher to find out the purpose of studies to be used in the printing industry.
The researcher will be following descriptive design for providing a clear idea about the place population and participants related to the research work. For collecting the data, researchers have planned to adopt a secondary qualitative data collection method for analysing the hypothesis of the overall research process. Different types of data are being collected from different data sources such as Google scholar and Proquest about identifying the strategies to be used for managing the human resources in the digital printing industry. As per the databases, a total of 12 journal articles will be collected for identifying the major findings and data related to the topic of the importance of managing human resources in the digital printing industry.
Proper identification of the analytical tool can be helpful for the researcher to find out the measure findings of the overall research process. In analysing the overall methodologies, secondary qualitative data has been used by the researcher which helps to develop better hypotheses for finding out the major findings of the overall research paper. As influenced by Zarate et al. (2022), the application of Prisma search and the boolean search will be used to collect different data from the databases. The application of thematic analysis will be used by the researcher for developing different types of themes for identifying the major findings. A total of 4 to 5 themes will be developed based on the overall word count of the research paper and the time given by the lecturer or professor.
Proper maintenance of different types of research ethics is very much effective for the research to manage different types of operations and to gather a good amount of findings related to the research topic. As per the secondary data collection method, proper management of different types of copyright and plagiarism-related issues will be highly required for the researcher to get
the findings. Maintaining different types of acts such as the copyright act 2005 and employment act 1998 helps the researcher to gather information to complete the research.
