Who is responsible for your data

My Assignment Services UK is the controller of your personal data for myassignmentservices.co.uk. Contact us about privacy at info@myassignmentservices.com.

What we collect

• Contact details: name, email address, phone number and country, when you fill in a form, chat with us or create an account.
• Order details: your subject, deadline, requirements, the files you upload (such as briefs, rubrics and drafts) and messages with our team and experts.
• Payment information: payment status and transaction references. Card details are handled by our payment providers; we do not store your full card number.
• Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and how you arrived, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookies Policy).
• Chat messages: what you type into our website chat assistant or WhatsApp.

Please don’t send us more personal information than we need, such as health details, unless it is relevant to your request (for example, a request for extra time).

How and why we use it

Who we share it with

We share personal data only where needed:

• the expert working on your order, who sees only what they need to help you;
• service providers who host the site, send emails and messages, process payments, provide analytics, protect the site (for example Cloudflare) and run our website chat assistant (an AI service provider);
• professional advisers, and authorities where the law requires it.

We never sell your personal data. We do not share your files or identity with your university.

International transfers

Some of our team, experts and service providers are based outside the UK. When your data is transferred outside the UK we make sure it is protected, for example by using countries covered by UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.

How long we keep it

• Uploaded files and order messages: 12 months after your order is completed, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
• Account and order records: while your account is open and for up to 6 years afterwards for tax and legal reasons.
• Marketing preferences: until you unsubscribe, plus a suppression record so we don’t contact you again.
• Website chat logs, if kept: no longer than 30 days.

Keeping it safe

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls and confidentiality agreements with our team and experts. Experts sign our Expert Privacy & Confidentiality Agreement.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to how we use it, have it moved to another provider, and withdraw consent at any time. To use any of these rights, email info@myassignmentservices.com. We will reply within one month.

Complaints to the ICO

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page if the way we use personal data changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
